We offer comprehensive evidence-based assessment and intervention services for children aged 2-to-18 years with suspected or diagnosed:​

Assessment Services:

We begin your journey with a complementary phone consultation where we discuss your child's needs and how we can best support their development.  Following the initial phone consultation, we may arrange for a comprehensive assessment to inform you of your child's unique profile, and any diagnoses.  We offer three unique assessment pathways:

• Brief Screening Assessment (45-minutes to 1-hour): This type of assessment is for those who are unsure if their child's speech, language, literacy or feeding skills are on the right track.  For example, an educator or teacher may have mentioned there could be a problem and this was unexpected news for the parents.  Alternatively, you may want to a speech, language, literacy or feeding 'health check' or indicator of readiness for school-entry.  The cost of a screening assessment is $290.98. ​​​​

• Early Intervention Assessment Session (1.5 hours):  This assessment session is designed for children from 2 to 5-years of age (i.e., up to school-entry) and focuses on speech sound development, language acquisition, play skills and social communication development.  If required, feeding skills may also be evaluated.  This assessment includes a comprehensive report.  The cost of this assessment is $581.97

• Literacy, Language & Speech Assessment (2-hours):  This assessment session is designed for children aged 6 to 16-years of age (i.e., primary school aged children and teenagers) and focuses on comprehensively evaluating your child's reading and spelling skills, written language skills, spoken language development and speech sound accuracy.  Social language skills may also be included.  This assessment includes a comprehensive report.  The cost of this assessment is: $678.96

• After Your Assessment: Following a comprehensive assessment, we may recommend a program of one-to-one therapy with a speech-language pathologist at school/childcare, our clinic or online.  Alternatively, we may recommend a home practice program be trialed with email/phone support from one of our speech-language pathologists. The aforementioned will be recommendations only, and our clients are not obliged to sign up for these services.​

Therapy Services:

We offer therapy sessions at our Adelaide clinic in Trott Park, at your child’s childcare, kindergarten or school, or online for families who need flexible support.​ Our therapy sessions are designed around your child's assessment data, their interests, and integrate a range of evidenced-based approaches and monitoring methods to ensure the best outcomes for your child. After each session, we encourage families to practice therapy goals at home so that skills generalise to your child's everyday environments.

 

Our therapy sessions are indexed against the NDIS price guidelines that are released in July each year. However, we do provide discounted fees to families who are unable to access NDIS funding to support access to speech-language pathology services.  Our current session fees are:

• NDIS Therapy Sessions with a Speech-Language Pathologist:

  • 60-minutes: $193.99 (this session consists of 45-50-minutes face-to-face therapy and 10-15-minutes of non-face-to-face preparing and note writing).​

• Private (Non-NDIS) Sessions with a Speech-Language Pathologist:

  • 45-minutes: $148.50 (this session consists of 35-40 minutes of face-to-face therapy and 5-10 minutes of non-face-to-face preparing and note writing).

  • 60-minutes: $191.70 (this session consists of 45-50-minutes face-to-face therapy and 10-15-minutes of non-face-to-face preparing and note writing)

• Travel Fees:

  • For mobile speech pathology services, we charge a travel fee as a fraction of your child's session fee based on time travelled. Travel costs are spilt between clients
